Description
Chardonnay 100%
This Grand Cru is located at the west / southwest end of the 7 Chablis Grands Crus. Our Bougros cuvée comes from a vineyard located at the top of the hill which allows it to benefit from excellent sunshine. Fermentation and aging are carried out in oak barrels with regular stirring. The freshness of the cellar eliminates the need for us to put the wines in the cold, the precipitation of the tartar crystals having taken place naturally during the winter.
The wine is therefore bottled after a very light filtration after about 18 months of aging. Flattering and easy to drink with aromas of flowers, notably honeysuckle and mineral notes, it is also full in the mouth with good length. Serve at 13oC with, for example, a steamed asparagus turbot.
